ing the first week of December 2014, a special happen-
ing, Polish Culture Week, took place at Poznan University
of Technology. It was organized by the Centre of Languag-
es and Communication for all international students stud-
ying at our University.
The students participated in the everyday meetings, from
Monday to Friday. The event included multimedia pres-
entations, lectures (Polish Cinema, Famous Poles, A Short
History of Poland, Polish Holidays and Traditions), film
shows, discussions, various language tasks and tasting
traditional Polish dishes. All the activities referred to Pol-
ish culture, history, traditions and customs. The students
showed great interest and enthusiasm in learning about
our country and people.
The international students at PUT admit that they are very
happy to participate in many different activities which are
a great opportunity to gain a lot of knowledge and spend
time in a pleasant international atmosphere. They claim
they are fascinated with the natural beauty of Poland and
the hospitality of the people. There is no doubt that for the
majority of them studying in Poland is a great experience
and the time they will never forget.
