OLYMPIAD
T he 2nd stage of the 16th National Olympiad of After the first stage of the Olympiad which
the English Language for Technical Universities took place on December 5th, 2014, 102
was held on 8th and 9th May 2015 at Poznan contestants (including 20 from PUT) from
University of Technology with 64 participants from 14 technical universities qualified for the se-

After written and oral tests on the 8th May, 12 laureates Wrocław University of Technology
were selected who delivered multimedia presentations on - 5th place – Abramowicz Paweł,
9th May on: Mark Kennedy said: “All of the biggest techno-
logical inventions created by man - the airplane, the auto- Wrocław University of Technology
mobile, the computer - say little about his intelligence, but - 6th place – Błaszczyk Marcin,
speak volumes about his laziness”. Do you agree?
