Invitation to the Centria International Staff Training Week May 18th-22nd

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We have the pleasure of inviting you and your colleagues and anyone interested in discussing and learning more about the role of international offices and other stakeholders in internationalizing the curriculum to participate in our International Staff Training Week at our Kokkola campus.

The week is built up around a two-day workshop entitled "The New Role of International Officers". The workshop is led by Jos Beelen, researcher and consultant on internationalisation of the curriculum at the Centre for Applied Research into Economics and Management at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, chair of the Expert Community Internationalisation at Home of the European Association for International Education (EAIE).

In addition to participation in this high quality workshop, the Centria International Staff Training Week also offers:

ü An opportunity to learn more about Centria and our offer to incoming exchange students

ü Networking with colleagues and peers in inspiring surroundings

ü Roundtable discussions on contemporary issues on International Education

ü Sight-seeing by bikes

ü A hike & dinner in the middle of the Nordic woods

You will find more information about the programme and the workshop in the attached invitation, and you can register through this link:

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions with regard to the programme. We look forward to seeing you in sunny May!
